AG New England Promotes Violette to Senior VP

f New England here said Michael J. Violette has been promoted to senior vice president, sales and retail development. Violette has been with the company for two-and-a-half years.

The company also said Michael Bourgoine has been named senior vice president, merchandising and logistics. Previously, Bourgoine has held positions with several major wholesalers, and was formerly senior merchandising executive and part owner of the Farm Fare group, which encompasses 13 stores.

Judd Leaves Fleming for Winn-Dixie

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Winn-Dixie Stores here said last week Richard C. Judd has been named vice president of warehousing and distribution, effective May 7. He succeeds A.C. "Buddy" Webb, who is retiring as vice president of services after 41 years with the company. Judd will be reporting to Daniel G. Lafever, senior vice president of sales and procurement. Previously, Judd spent 20 years with Fleming, Dallas, in a variety of executive positions.

Webvan Names Fisher to Board

FOSTER CITY, Calif. -- Webvan here said it has named Ronald D. Fisher, managing general partner of Softbank Capital Partners, San Francisco, to its board.

The company also said Tim Koogle and Michael Moritz have left its board. Koogle is the vice chairman of Yahoo!, Santa Clara, Calif., and Moritz is a general partner with Sequoia Capital, Menlo Park, Calif.
