Marketing Position Filled at Non-Stop

SAN FRANCISCO -- Non-Stop Logistics Corp. here has named Michael Neal director of marketing services, a new position. He assumes responsibilities formerly handled by Joe Bottom, the company's founder and vice president of planning.

Neal will work closely with manufacturers and distributors, analyzing their distribution operations and making recommendations to increase efficiency. Before joining the company he was a management consultant in his own firm. He has also worked for Andersen Consulting in San Francisco and Madrid, and for Deloitte & Touche in San Francisco.

IRI Appoints Andress President

CHICAGO -- Information Resources Inc. here has named James Andress president and chief operating officer.

He succeeds Magid Abraham, who has relinquished the position because of health problems, according to a company statement.

Andress, who was IRI's vice president and co-chief executive officer, will continue to share the duties of chief executive officer with Gian Fulgoni, IRI chairman. Abraham also will continue to serve the company as a director and vice chairman and focus his efforts on IRI's applications development and data processing re-engineering efforts.

Reporting to Andress will be Thomas Walker, president of finance and administration; Jeffrey Stamen, president of IRI Software; George Garrick, president and chief executive officer of IRI North America, and Randall Smith, president of international operations.
