Veal Group Taps Merchandiser
odward has been named veal merchandiser for the Veal Committee, a division of the Beef Industry Council here. It is a new position at the council.
Woodward, previously manager of raw products purchasing for Keystone Foods Corp., Bala Cynwyd, Pa., now reports to Mike Pardini, coordinator of veal promotion programs.
In his new post, Woodward's responsibilities include working with retail and food service operators to implement veal promotion and merchandising programs. Woodward's emphasis will be placed on the committee's on-going campaign: "Veal. Discover the Special Choice."
Norbest Appoints Nielsen, Norton
SALT LAKE CITY -- Doug R. Nielsen has been named national sales manager, Eastern division, for Norbest, a turkey marketing cooperative here.
Nielsen, previously responsible for sales in the Southeast, Midwest and South Central region, is now also responsible for the Northeast.
Gary Norton, previously eastern division manager, has been named national sales manager, western division. He is responsible for sales in the Northwest, Southwest and West Coast and direct sales in the intermountain area. Nielsen and Norton report to Steven R. Jensen, president and chief executive officer of Norbest.
