Buchbinder Fills Service Slot

Moran is in charge of overseeing inside sales, customer service, company literature and information at trade shows. She received her new title after two years of customer service and order entry within other divisions of parent company Ardco.
Moran reports to Janice Fleury, Buchbinder's general manager. Fleury said Moran is filling a position that opened recently, though she declined to say who had held the spot previously.
Oppenheimer Taps Sales Rep
SEATTLE -- J.C. Myers joined the sales and marketing team at David Oppenheimer & Co. here, as a sales representative.
Myers, who is filling a position made vacant last year as a result of a resignation, reports directly to Kathy Miller, office manager at the Seattle office.
He is one of the salespeople charged with selling New Zealand apples and pears, as well as mangoes and melons, to various markets.
Myers has been in the produce industry for four years, most recently with Fruit Distribution Corp., San Francisco.
Micheli Joins Fresh 1 Marketing
MINNEAPOLIS -- Fresh 1 Marketing, based here, has named Steve Micheli its national produce sales representative.
Micheli is focusing on marketing and merchandising Fresh 1 fruits and vegetables to customers in Louisville, Ky.; Chicago; Detroit; Cleveland; St. Louis; Peoria, Ill.; and Cincinnati, where he is based.
Micheli reports to Mike Rempe, vice president of produce at Fresh 1. Fresh 1 officials declined to identify Micheli's predecessor.
Fresh 1 is a marketer, importer and exporter of the Fresh 1 brand of fruits and vegetables.
Nasoya Adds Marketing Manager
LEOMINSTER, Mass. -- Nasoya Foods here, a leading manufacturer of organic tofu, has hired Amy E. Towle as its new marketing manager.
Towle is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the marketing of Nasoya's products and services.
She succeeds Pam Clarke, who left earlier this year to take a marketing and sales manager position at New England Natural Bakers.
Towle reports directly to Robert DeCosta, vice president of sales and marketing at Nasoya.
Towle came to Nasoya from The Butcher Company in Marlborough, Mass., where she served as direct marketing and advertising manager. Prior to that, she was an assistant account executive for a Boston advertising firm.
Unimark Adds Chief Executive
ARGYLE, Texas -- Unimark Group, based here, recently named Soren Bjorn executive vice president and chief executive officer.
In this new position, Bjorn is "totally responsible for the day-to-day operations of Unimark," said a company official.
Bjorn has been with the company since 1993, holding positions such as director of operations and vice president of operations.
Unimark is a specialty processor, distributor and marketer of chilled and frozen citrus and other fruits in the United States, Japan and Canada.
