Margarites Takes New A&P Post
named Paul Margarites vice president of deli-bakery sales and merchandising with expanded responsibilities. He was vice president of deli sales and merchandising.
He assumes the responsibilities of Thomas Gandolfi, former vice president of bakery sales and merchandising. Gandolfi, who has been with A&P for seven years, has been named vice president of perishables for A&P's Atlanta division, a new position. Margarites will continue to report to George Graham, senior vice president of merchandising. Margarites was vice president of deli sales and merchandising for seven years. Prior to that he was vice president of deli-dairy sales and merchandising for A&P's Shopwell Food Emporium division for eight years.
