Marsh Elevates David Marsh to President
named president of Marsh Supermarkets here last week, according to Don E. Marsh, chairman and chief executive officer.
He becomes the fourth president in the company's 71-year history, following Don E. Marsh, David's father, and company founder Ermal Marsh and Estel Marsh.
Most recently, he was executive vice president of the regional chain and president and chief operating officer at LoBill Foods, and the supermarket division.
Nash Finch Names Nelson President, COO
MINNEAPOLIS -- Nash Finch Co. last week said it elevated Jerry L. Nelson to president and chief operating officer of the retailer and wholesaler, based here. Nelson previously had been corporate executive vice president and president of food distribution. He retains overall responsibility for distribution and continues to report to Ron Marshall, CEO. Fulfilling Nelson's former responsibilities in the day-to-day operations of the distribution business is David J. Bersie, who becomes corporate senior vice president, food distribution.
Bozzuto's Announces Top Appointments
CHESHIRE, Conn. -- Bozzuto's, a wholesale food distributor here, has named President and CEO Michael A. Bozzuto chairman of its board of directors. He succeeds his father and founder of the company, Adam J. Bozzuto, who died in July. In addition, Mark G. Kindig has joined the company as executive vice president of finance and chief financial officer.
