TurboChef Appoints Antonini CEO
s appointed Marion Antonini as chairman of the board and chief executive officer.
He replaces as chairman Jeffrey Bogatin, who will remain as a member of the board of directors and has become chairman of the executive committee of the food service technology company.
Antonini most recently served as chairman, president, and chief executive officer at Welbuilt Corp., another commercial appliance manufacturer. Before that, he served as chairman and managing director of KD Equities, a merchant banking firm in New York.
His new responsibilities include development and management of the company's overall growth strategies, strengthening the senior management team and establishing the necessary alliances, joint ventures and licensing agreements to support the company's growth plans.
As part of TurboChef's new organization structure, Philip McKee will assume the titles of vice chairman and chief technology officer. He will continue to lead the company's technology strategies alliance with Maytag Corp., announced in September 1997.
Barker Hires Sales Coordinator
KEOSAUQUA, Iowa -- Barker Co. has named Kari Fulton food-service sales coordinator, a new position created after the food equipment manufacturer began distribution to food-service accounts earlier this year.
Fulton's responsibilities include expanding Barker's customer base to the food-service industry, as well assisting in the design of food-service equipment. Her past experience includes food-service manager at the University of Iowa, catering director at University of Iowa Hospitals complex, and residence services food manager for the university.
