GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Irish cheeses figured prominently among the winners at the World Champion Cheese Contest held last month here.
according to the Irish Dairy Board, which is based in Wilmette, Ill.
Irish Vintage Cheddar, made by Daar Vale Cheese Co., won Best of Class out of 58 competitors in the Aged Cheddar classification. Both winning cheeses are marketed in the United States by the Irish Dairy Board.
