SEATTLE -- Muzak and Coupons Online have agreed to jointly market interactive online couponing and promotional programs for major retailers. Muzak will create and implement company-specific promotional programs for retail chains and coordinate tie-ins between these businesses and major promotional partners. Coupons Online will be the delivery medium for distributing these online ads and coupons. "The advertising and promotional programs are designed to bring customers into participating retailers," said Gary Henderson, president of Muzak's In-Store Marketing Group. "This new service has enormous potential for major retail chains and their cooperative advertising partners. Retailers get access to millions of upscale consumers through the online service."
