VSDA Independents' Council Encourages FTC Investigation

ENCINO, Calif. -- Independent Retailers Advisory Committee of the Video Software Dealers Association, here, has drafted a letter to the Federal Trade Commission asking the FTC to continue its ongoing investigations into the video industry, according to an on-line report of the committee's November meeting.

The committee requested that the FTC focus on the number of closures of independent video specialty stores and the reasons for them going out of business. The letter was expected to be reviewed by the VSDA board today.

Movie Gallery Shows Trailers On-line
