Meat Institute Foundation here will hold its annual Worker Safety and Health Conference March 21 to 23 at the Sheraton Denver Tech Center in Denver.

Barbara Silverstein, special assistant for ergonomics at the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration, will give the keynote address during a special daylong seminar devoted to workplace ergonomics on March 21.

The invited keynote speaker for day two of the conference is Joe Dear, the newly appointed OSHA administrator, who is expected to discuss OSHA reform initiatives.

The conference will also include five workshops on the following topics: "Process Safety Management -- EPA and OSHA Perspectives"; "Confined Space"; "OSHA/Industry Voluntary Protection Program"; "Bloodborne Pathogens"; and "Hazardous Waste and Emergency Operations."

Tropicana Introduces Juice Line

BRADENTON, Fla. -- Tropicana Products here has introduced a new value segment line of pure fruit juice products and has also extended its Pure Premium line with a Ruby Red orange juice flavor.

The new line, called Tropicana Season's Best, consists of from-concentrate chilled 100% pure fruit juices in four orange juices -- original, Home Style, Plus Calcium and Plus Vitamins -- and apple and grape flavors.

Products are available in 64-ounce cartons with a suggested retail price of $2.29, except grape, which is $2.69. Additionally, the Home Style and Original flavors are available in 96-ounce plastic containers.
