oduce Marketing Association here will hold a produce and floral training seminar Oct. 21 to 22 at the Marriott Rivercenter in San Antonio, just before the trade group's annual convention and exposition, Oct. 22 to 25, at the San Antonio Convention Center. The "Train the Trainer" seminar will provide instruction on how to teach basic produce and floral skills, as well as managerial skills.

The agenda includes training guidelines and principles, the psychology of learning, PMA's five-step training process, hands-on training experience and training program planning. The seminar is open to anyone interested in produce and floral training. Information on the seminar will be sent with convention and exposition registration packets. Fresh Express Adds Baby Carrots

SALINAS, Calif. -- Fresh Express Farms here has introduced baby whole peeled carrots to its line of value-added produce. The carrots have been distributed to retail stores since late August.

Grimmway Farms, Bakersfield, Calif., will grow and pack the baby carrots under the Fresh Express Farms label.

Fresh Express Farms is a grower and distributor of packaged salads. The company recently enlarged its line of salads and is expanding into other fresh-cut produce items.
