The World Trade Organization, Washington, said last week the U.S. may continue to impose import trade sanctions against countries that bar American products from their markets. The ruling is seen as a go-ahead for the U.S. to continue to target imported gourmet foods and other products, such as those it barred from this country in March by imposing 100% duties, in a dispute with the European Union over bananas, trade analysts said.
