ONEIDA, N.Y. -- Oneida announced it will market a variety of tabletop products and related home accessories to the supermarket industry through a new wholly owned subsidiary.

Encore will market several new product lines under the Oneida name in supermarket redemption programs, including dinnerware, cookware, cutlery, towels and linens.
In addition, Encore will continue its ongoing marketing of Oneida's existing flatware lines to the supermarket industry and will continue marketing a number of other brand names.
Oneida is said to be the world's largest manufacturer of stainless steel and silver-plated flatware for the consumer and food-service tableware industries.
