VALHALLA, N.Y. - Starting this spring, Fuji Photo Film U.S.A. here is offering Fujifilm QuickSnap SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer one-time-use cameras. The popular Nickelodeon TV characters are meant to appeal to kids and their moms, the largest segments of one-time-use camera users, according to Fujifilm. "QuickSnaps have always appealed to moms with kids because of their ease-of-use, ready availability, affordability and go-anywhere capability," said Jolene Wiley, director of marketing, one-time-use cameras, Fuji Photo Film U.S.A. SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer will each have their own model of the QuickSnap Flash 800 X-TRA. Taking advantage of SpongeBob SquarePants' aquatic theme, there will also be a SpongeBob version of the QuickSnap Waterproof 800 model, an all-weather one-time-use camera that is waterproof to a depth of 35 feet.

Animaniacs Any Time

BURBANK, Calif. - For the first time, the Animaniacs are coming to DVD from Warner Home Video here. Fans can own "Animaniacs Volume 1" on July 25, including 25 episodes featuring the misadventures of the Warner Brothers, Yakko and Wacko, and the Warner Sister, Dot. Created and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, "Animaniacs" first aired on Fox in 1993, where it ran for two years. "Animaniacs Volume 1" is a five-disc collectors' set with over 12 hours of entertainment. Warner Home Video will support the release with a national media campaign including TV, print and online advertising. Online advertising will be featured on sites targeting adult collectors of animation. Pre-order date is June 20.

SILVER SPRING, Md. - The Learning Channel wants to spice up consumers' Sunday afternoons by bringing the popular Home Made Simple brand and website to life as a new television series. Traveling around the country to improve the lives of homeowners everywhere, organizational expert June Saruwatari and master carpenter Scott McCray work with viewers who nominate a friend they feel is deserving of a visit. The series, premiering Sunday, June 4, is based on the principles featured on the home-care website, www.homemadesimple.com, an online information center supported by Procter & Gamble, Cincinnati. There will be P&G home-care brands advertising in the show's time slot, and after each episode viewers can go online to find more tips on how to create their own Home Made Simple.
