The meat varieties listed were cooked ham, Genoa or hard salami, turkey ham, turkey pastrami, beef bologna, braunschweiger, cotto salami, German bologna, jalapeno loaf, kielbasa loaf, old fashioned loaf, olive loaf, pepper loaf, and pickle and pimento loaf.
Safeway officials at the Seattle division declined to comment on the ad. A store source, however, told SN that this was the first time the division had run a special on luncheon meat that included so many varieties at one time. "Usually we would feature only one. For example this week, we have a particular luncheon loaf on special for $2.99 a pound," she said.
