CHARLESTON, S.C. — Piggly Wiggly Carolina Co. here is conducting a search for the South’s best amateur cooks with its first Taste of the South Recipe Contest that kicked off yesterday. Now through Oct. 21, contestants can enter recipes in one of three categories: appetizers, salads and side dishes; main dishes; and desserts.
