| NOTES | Fiscal 2017 sales in the company's native Canadian currency increased 3% to $13.18 billion from fiscal 2016 sales of $12.79 billion. At the end of fiscal 2017 Metro Inc. operated 360 company markets including those under Metro Super C and Food Basics banners operated pharmacies in 73 of those stores and franchised or licensed 201 Metro stores and 183 Brunet pharmacies.
