At Oliver’s Markets, a three-store independent in Sonoma County, Calif., professionally trained chefs prepare in-house 95% of the offerings at the award-winning delis. Customers looking for prepared foods will find a taqueria, sushi bar, sandwiches, soups and a signature home meal replacement program.
“And I think quality and price and all that are really important, but at the end of the day when it comes to foodservice the rubber hits the road with the employees. And I think we’ve got some of the best deli employees in the world,” said Tom Scott, general manager.
