The 2019 Fresh Foods Survey shows trends and areas of growth, including e-commerce, for the perimeter departments. The research was conducted online from Jan. 16 through Feb. 6 and included retailer, wholesaler, manufacturer and marketing respondents. Each respondent is responsible for part of the fresh food department in either a sales, marketing, merchandising or vendor/manufacturer arena.
