COMPTON, Calif. -- Ralphs Grocery Co. here has added American Express to the growing ranks of credit and debit cards the chain is accepting. The retailer announced the new payment option of American Express and a subsidiary card, Optima, with a recent advertisement in the Los Angeles Times.
