H-E-B's Favor Delivery names Keith Duncan CEO
The announcement follows several promotions and new hires at the grocer-owned delivery company.
Favor Delivery, the on-demand delivery company owned by Texas grocer H-E-B, named Keith Duncan CEO, and announced several hires for leadership positions at the company this week.
Duncan succeeds Jag Bath, who resigned from the position due to health issues but remains on the executive board.
Duncan joins from real estate technology company Orchard, where he served as chief revenue officer. He returns to Favor, after having worked as chief revenue officer and in other leadership positions between 2015 and 2021.
“I am honored to rejoin Favor and for the opportunity to lead as we further build out our business across Texas, ” Duncan said in the press release.
The announcement follows several promotions and new hires at the company, including the following:
Erin Forsyth, who was named senior vice president of marketing. Forsyth previously led a variety of B2B and B2C marketing teams for tech companies such as Redfin and Vrbo.
Austen Moede, who was named head of planning an analysis. He most recently served as managing director of planning and analysis for H-E-B store operations.
Santiago Spraggon, who was named vice president of operations. He has previously held positions at Amazon and digital pharmacy company Capsule.
Daniel Guzman, who was promoted to chief legal officer from his previous role at Favor as managing counsel.
Rachel Losh, who was promoted to chief product officer from her previous role as vice president of product.
Steve Romney, who was promoted to chief technology officer from his previous role as vice president of engineering.
Favor noted in the press release that it still is searching to fill the position of vice president of sales. The company also is hiring for a number of positions on its engineering and product teams.
“Focusing on smart growth and having the very best team in place has been, and continues to be, crucial to Favor’s success,” said Duncan said in the press release. “Further investing in our team remains a priority as we position the company for the future to continue growing and serving Texas.”
H-E-B is observing the fifth anniversary of the acquisition of the Austin-based delivery brand. It operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of H-E-B. Favor's corporate office now has 400 workers and the company said it has more than 100,000 contract delivery drivers.
