TYLER, Texas — Brookshire Grocery Co. announced Tuesday it would begin dispensing flu shots for $20 on Sept. 1.
Flu shots will be available at most of the retailers’ 113 Brookshire’s and Super 1 Foods pharmacies in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas.
In Texas and Louisiana, pharmacists can give flu shots to children ages 7 and up without a prescription. Customers should check with their pharmacy regarding the shot for children under 7 (with a prescription). Arkansas store pharmacists can give the flu shot to customers 18 or older.
