KEENE, N.H. — C&S Wholesale Grocers here, with approximately 17,000 employees, has selected Simulations software from Kenexa, Wayne, Pa., to engage job candidates through interactive web-based job simulations.
Kenexa Simulations deliver job previews so that candidates understand the demands of a particular role. The system engages candidates in a virtual environment that can help identify candidates most likely to be successful within C&S and in a specific role.
"Many of our candidates have grown up in the era of smartphones, iPads and video games, and they expect a certain level of interactivity during the recruitment process," said John Leech, senior director, field talent management, C&S, in a statement. The Kenexa Simulation system, he added, provides "a realistic job preview."
