EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market is distributing a coupon for a free canvas bag redeemable now through Earth Day, April 22, by customers spending $20 or more.
The coupon was distributed to “Friends of Fresh & Easy” via email and is available on the retailer’s facebook page.
Fresh & Easy encourages reusable bag use in other ways. The company uses signs in-store to remind customers to use their bags, it merchandising reusable bags closer to checkout and gives away magnets to remind customers not to forget their reusable bags at home.
“We think Earth Day should be all year round,” said the retailer in promotional materials. “That’s why, as good neighbors, we encourage customers to use reusable bags whenever possible.”
