BURLINGTON, Vt. — The U.S. Small Business Administration has named Katy Lesser, owner of Healthy Living Market here, as its 2010 Vermont Small Business Person of the Year. The award makes Lesser eligible for the National Small Business Person title later this month.
Healthy Living Market, Vermont's largest natural foods market, is a family-owned business that's been in operation for 24 years. Lesser was selected for her leadership related to the company's staying power, employee growth, sales increases, innovations and contributions to the community.
