GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Meijer plans to cut the prices on more than 300 toys for the holiday season, said David Stickney, merchandise manager for toys, yesterday. The Toy Price Drop program includes nearly all toy categories, with discounts of up to 30% off the retailer’s normal prices. Among the brands involved are Hannah Montana, Playskool, Star Wars and Disney Princess. Hot Wheels cars will be sold for 88 cents. “We’re committed to saving our customers money on more than just a handful of products,” said Stickney. “Cutting the price on so many products is a bold move we’re making, but one that we felt was necessary to help our customers this holiday season.”
