NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — A 95,000-square-foot Market Basket supermarket is set to open here Wednesday.
The new store will anchor the Riverside Landing development at the site of the former Fairhaven Mills, an industrial site. The store, operated by Tewksbury, Mass.-based Demoulas Super Markets, will employ around 600, according to city officials.
