SAN JOSE, Calif. — Cosentino's Market, an upscale operator here for 63 years, will close its last remaining store here Feb. 8, according to locally published reports.

The younger generation of family members is not interested in taking over the business from the sons of the company's founder, the reports said. The company closed two other locations, here and in Santa Clara, several years ago.

The 32,000-square-foot store here, along with a total of 4.2 acres of surrounding property, has been purchased by a local real estate investment and development company, which is reportedly hoping to bring in another high-end operator to take over the store site.
