SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Stater Bros. Markets here said it has promoted Dan Meyer to the new position of senior vice president, retail operations.
He has been with Stater since 1971, starting as a courtesy clerk and progressing through various store and district positions to become senior regional vice president in 2009.
In his new job he will be responsible for retail operations of the chain's 167 stores, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of Stater's corporate training center.
