BERKELEY, Calif. — Whole Foods Market is partnering with the Beer Wench, craft evangelist Ashley Routson of Bison Brewing, on the second in a series of live Twitter tastings called “Beer is for Lovers,” taking place Tuesday at 7 p.m. EST.
Featured beers include The Poet from New Holland Brewing Co., with a rich, smooth malt character enveloped in chocolate; Flying Dog’s Raging Bitch Belgian-Style IPA, with fruity flavors and hop bite; Bison Brewing’s slightly bitter Chocolate Stout organic roast; and Ninkasi Brewing’s Total Domination, a multiple hop brew from the Pacific Northwest.
Every 15 minutes, the focus will shift to a different brewery as brew masters actively answer questions and share stories about the beers and the breweries. Participants are asked to taste the beers at home and use the hashtag #WFMBeer in their tweets.
