MONTVALE, N.J. — A&P is asking shoppers to help select a new rose variety.
A web-exclusive promotion lets shoppers choose one of 10 different types, including a two-toned rose, antique lavendar rose and cherry pink-edged rose.
The promotion is running in A&P's Waldbaum’s, Pathmark, Food Emporium, A&P and SuperFresh banners.
Participants can vote through March 15 via a link on each of the retailer’s banner websites.
Once the flower is selected shoppers can submit a name suggestion for the rose, beginning Friday, for a chance to win $5,000 in groceries.
