Mrs. Green’s Natural Market on Monday said it would open a new store in Winnetka, Ill., a north shore Chicago suburb.
The company plans to open the store later this year. “Mrs. Green’s is committed to providing the families of Winnetka with organic food and healthy-living products. Our new Hubbard Woods store brings together families that care deeply about the food they eat and a community market that provides healthy products,” the company, a division of Irvington, N.Y.-based Natural Markets Food Group, said in a statement.
The 12,500-square-foot space with 40 dedicated parking spots resides in the heart of Winnetka’s Hubbard Woods commercial district. The site previously operated as Gap clothing store that closed in 2013.
The store continues the company’s plan to expand in the Chicago area, Mrs. Green's said. The company currently operates a store in Chicago’s Lincoln Park community.
