PHOENIX — Sprouts Farmers Market here has selected tw telecom, Littleton, Colo., to help create a multi-state data network that will connect the chain's existing 60 stores with 43 new stores acquired in its recent merger with Henry's Farmers Market.

The new agreement, which expands the services tw telecom currently offers Sprouts, will provide the chain with the Converged Services package, which combines voice, secure Internet access and MPLS IP VPN.

The system will allow Sprouts to optimize its bandwidth allocation and prioritization based on its needs across its more than 100 locations in four states.

"[Our] existing relationship, combined with tw telecom's extensive fiber network that reaches all of our 103 locations in Arizona, California, Texas and Colorado, made it an easy decision to expand our relationship with them," said Michael Klingseis, Sprouts' IT technical services manager, in a statement.
