The first Market Grille to open seats 175. New restaurants will have a similar footprint.
The menu includes a mix of American, Italian and Asian dishes, as well as a few healthier options.
Director of Restaurant Development Brooke Barnes said the menu seeks to draw in new customers while providing some of the same elements for which Hy-Vee is known.
The full bar serves local beers on tap and features an extensive wine list.
The Market Cafe menu is somewhat smaller and offers fewer alcohol options.
