New format
Target opened TargetExpress, its smallest-ever store, at street level of an apartment building in the Dinkytown section of Minneapolis, near the University of Minnesota campus.
On the way out
As customers head toward the checkout area at the front of the TargetExpress store, they can buy beauty aids, gift cards and portable electronics.
Checkout
The 20,000-square-foot TargetExpress features four checkout lanes and a pickup desk.
Chilled and shelved
The small Target features some grab-and-go items in a cooler case, plus a variety of general merchandise on the way to the grocery section on the back wall.
Target Market
The store features a selection of grocery items at the back of the store.
Heath and beauty
The store offers a pharmacy and several HCA lines.
