Ready for business
Babeth’s Feast opened in Manhattan’s Upper East Side neighborhood in August.
Color coded
The store is divided into 10 sections, each with its own color.
A full day of frozen
“We really wanted to be sort of a grocery store of frozen food. So anything that one could imagine from breakfast to dessert, we wanted to have a very sort of complete selection so you that you could have your whole meal — if you wanted to — you could have your whole meal using frozen,” said de Kergorlay.
Babeth’s brand
The packaging for Babeth’s Feast’s private label products matches the section color. The retailer makes some of its private label products in store while others are produced by manufacturers.
Easy on the eyes
Babeth’s Feast tried to make the store as attractive and customer-friendly as possible.
Helping hand
The 1,700-square-foot store typically has four associates working at one time: one manager, two salespeople and one person conducting product demos.
Frozen gets its moment
