Kroger Co. unveiled the Smith’s banner at six stores in the Las Vegas market March 4 that it previously operated under the Food 4 Less banner.

Strike up the band
A local school marching band trumpeted the changes at the former Food 4 Less. As part of its grand opening, Smith’s donated $25,000 to Communities in Schools of Nevada to help support its partner schools in neighborhoods around each new store. Smith’s also donated 50 bicycles to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
