Make the swap
Products on display on the Fresh Summit show floor in Atlanta last week played on current food trends while underscoring convenience for the consumer. To emphasize health, many prominently displayed calorie counts and other nutritional information.
Mann Packing Company won a PMA 2015 Impact Award for Excellence in Packaging for its Culinary Cuts. The “fresh pasta swap” products go a step beyond spaghetti squash with butternut squash zig zags and sweet potato ribbons. The packaging also notes the Culinary Cuts are gluten free.
