MINNEAPOLIS — Nash Finch Co. here has named Joseph Friedman to the new position of senior director, pharmacy marketing, the company said yesterday. Friedman most recently served as director of pharmacy at Topco Associates, Skokie, Ill., a privately held cooperative providing procurement and other services for its member-owners, which include supermarket retailers, wholesalers and food-service companies. “Joseph’s broad-ranging experience in pharmacy sales and marketing will be of great value as we continue to implement Operation Fresh Start, the company’s strategic plan. We welcome Joseph to Nash Finch and look forward to his future contributions as we focus on developing a strong health and wellness program, a critical area of importance to consumers today, as well as increase our pharmacy marketing efforts,” said Christopher Brown, executive vice president, food distribution group, Nash Finch.
