H-E-B opens fifth e-commerce fulfillment center

H-E-B's new 50,000-square-foot e-commerce fulfillment center is located at 651 North U.S. Highway in Leander, Texas, a suburb of Austin.

The new facility will service H-E-B Curbside and Home Delivery orders across Leander and surrounding cities in the Central Texas region.

H-E-B noted that its new online grocery fulfillment centers have more capacity, greater efficiency and better product availability.

The Leander location marks H-E-B's fifth e-commerce fulfillment center overall.

H-E-B said that by the end of next year, it aims to open additional facilities across Texas, including in Plano.

H-E-B Curbside and Home Delivery services are available at more than 260 stores in Texas.

H-E-B added that the opening of the Leander facility builds on its longstanding presence in a rapidly growing region of Texas.
