BATAVIA, Ill. — Aldi has launched a premium brand called Specially Selected featuring a range of specialty products from German coffees and gourmet pastas to premium meats and cheeses that will be available periodically throughout the year.

BATAVIA, Ill. — Aldi has launched a premium brand called Specially Selected featuring a range of specialty products from German coffees and gourmet pastas to premium meats and cheeses that will be available periodically throughout the year.

“Each Specially Selected product was developed with exceptional taste at an excellent value — helping to meet our customers’ increasing demand for premium, quality food at affordable prices,” said Chuck Youngstrom, president of Aldi, in a statement.

The exclusive brand was first launched in Europe and is now available in the U.S.

The Specially Selected line includes:

  • Blue or Feta Cheese Crumbles, 5 ounces, $1.99

  • Goat Cheese Log, 4 ounces, $1.99

  • Pizzelle Cookies, 7 ounces, $2.99

  • Premium Roast Ground Coffee, 17.6 ounces $4.99

  • Gourmet Vinaigrette Dressing, 12 ounces, $1.99
