Foodtown Reopens with Expanded Health Selection

ISELIN, N.J. — A Foodtown store in Brooklyn’s Bay Ridge neighborhood in New York City has reopened after a two-year renovation, Allegiance Retail Services here said Wednesday.

The Foodtown of Bay Ridge has been completely remodeled to include several new and expanded departments, including the Naturally Foodtown heath food store located on the second floor, offering a wide variety of organic and natural foods, bulk foods and vitamins. Foodtown of Bay Ridge is one of 12 Foodtown locations owned and operated by PSK Supermarkets.

Noah Katz, co-president of PSK Supermarkets, said, “We are extremely delighted with the results of the renovation, especially the Naturally Foodtown health food store. Our customers have been looking for organic and natural foods and we are happy that we can meet this need. We are thrilled to serve the community with all of the new features and services of the Foodtown of Bay Ridge.”

Allegiance is the retail services company that supports the Foodtown cooperative and other retailers in the Northeast.
