The consolidation, expected to be completed in September, would improve operating efficiency and reduce excess capacity, the company said. The closure of the Xenia facility would impact 120 employees.

Supervalu has operated in Xenia since 1961. The facility services companies including Dorothy Lane Market, Lofino’s Foods and Groceryland as well as Ohio Save-A-Lot stores and independents.
