MINNEAPOLIS — Supervalu here has elected Todd Sheldon to the position of vice president, legal services, the company said. Sheldon will be responsible for a variety of areas, including commercial litigation, labor and employment law, pharmacy and regulatory affairs, ethics and compliance, privacy and food safety. He will report to Dave Boehnen, executive vice president. Sheldon, 40, will replace Steve Kilgriff, who is retiring from this position at the end of the fiscal year after 16 years with Supervalu. Prior to joining Supervalu, Sheldon was vice president and senior legal counsel for Medtronic, Memphis, Tenn., and before that a senior associate at Chapman & Cutler, Chicago.
