Cub Foods’ newest store has urban shoppers in mind

In a first for the chain, Cub Foods has opened a supermarket in an apartment building. The 46,000-square-foot store, which debuted in a grand-opening event last week, serves the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis and anchors a five-story, 148-unit residential development and offers an array of conveniences for urban shoppers.
