Longo’s debuts net-zero energy store

Earlier this month, Longo Brothers Fruit Markets held the grand opening for its new store in Stouffville, Ontario — Canada’s first supermarket with net-zero energy consumption. The 40,000-square-foot store will use 35% less energy than other supermarkets and produce 65% of its own energy through renewable technologies.
