TYLER, Texas -- Brookshire Grocery Co. here has renewed its agreement with DemandTec, San Carlos, Calif., for its price and promotion optimization software. Now entering its fifth year as a DemandTec customer, Brookshire uses the DemandTec software to support pricing in over 150 stores. “DemandTec‘s consumer-centric merchandising, sales and marketing software supports our strong commitment to customer service by helping us enforce pricing rules and improve decisions about our pricing and promotion strategies,” said Gary Butler, Brookshire‘s chief information officer, in a statement.
