New CARB (California Air Resources Board) regulations are going into effect soon. Chemours will walk retail food operators through what this means for your existing refrigeration systems containing greater than 50 lbs. of refrigerant. To assist supermarkets with refrigerant transitions, Chemours will be sharing a new tool to track the Green House Gas Potential and Average GWP of their entire refrigeration footprint so end users can model and calculate the impact of various refrigerant changes needed to achieve California regulatory compliance.
Key takeaways include:
- Understanding the impact of CARB regulations for Existing Food Retail Facilities
- Familiarization with a new tool for tracking and compliance towards 2030 goals.
- Understanding how refrigerant retrofits can help you cost effectively achieve regulatory compliance
