Walmart will now have exclusive rights to a new line of prepared, frozen meals from celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, reports People.
Ramsay has dabbled in many business endeavors including cooking shows, competitions, and restaurants, but this is his first foray into prepared foods at the grocery store.
The line called “By Chef Ramsay” will be sold only at Walmart and features eight different meals, all of which take minutes to heat and serve. All eight meals are available nationwide at Walmart now.
This frozen food line comes as many “you can’t get it anywhere else” trends are surfacing in the supermarket space. Kroger is the latest to follow that same blueprint, offering limited-time Late Night Loaded Taco Doritos, available exclusively at Kroger.
The frozen meals from Ramsay include British staples like shepherd’s pie and fish and chips. The other meals include a four-cheese lasagna; macaroni bake; mushroom risotto; chicken pot pie; lemon caper chicken; and slow-roasted beef with potatoes.
